When I arrived it was "busy"
Apparently, "busy" for the Living Desert is half of "empty" at the San Diego Zoo. Hey, works for me!
The LD has a hospital with almost daily operations, checkups, etc.
All the rooms are glad, meaning you can watch operations. Sadly nothing was happening today.
I did see an intriguing little Acorn Woodpecker named Dewie. Dewie was born with a deformed beak and cataracts... Never was able to fly...
I took shots, but they didn't come out well.
Anyway, I saw coyotes, wolves, cats, foxes (finally), and more.
Sadly, both the cheetahs and hyenas weren't visible...

's own words "We both got boned"
Otherwise, I had fun. Walked the whole place... It's over 2 hours from my house, but I would get a year membership in a HEARTBEAT... In fact I may next month.
The butterflies were the "Ace" in my trip. They're quite beautiful, and having them land on me rocked. I'm so happy with the shot of the butterfly on my hand!

I still have requests for wildebeest, giraffes, lions, and tigers.
To the people that requested them... I did NOT forget... I will get your pictures at the SD Zoo or Wild Animal Park... I wasn't able to obtain good shots otherwise.
I love you all.
